Stroumbi is a village on the Paphos-Polis road, inland in the wine-growing hills north of town. It is not coastal. Paphos is typically a 20- to 25-minute drive south; the seafront is that same journey plus the drop down to Kato Paphos or Coral Bay. Polis Chrysochous lies further north on the same road. Homes are village houses and villas, not tourist apartment blocks. A car is required. It suits retirees, remote workers and people who want a traditional village base with access to both Paphos and the north coast. The beach and city-centre jobs are not walkable.
