Tombs of the Kings is the coastal strip along Tafon ton Vasileon Avenue, running north from Kato Paphos past the UNESCO necropolis. It is urban and coastal: hotels, apartment buildings, restaurants and, inland, Kings Avenue Mall. The sea is across the road or a short walk. The harbour is a few kilometres south, typically 5 to 10 minutes by car or a longer walk along the promenade. Rentals are mainly apartments and penthouses, with some townhouses. Communal pools are common in residential blocks; private gardens are not. It suits remote workers, couples and people who want seafront access and shops without being in the harbour itself. It is busier and more built-up than Chlorakas or the hill villages.
